It is a short ferry ride, and you can stay in your car or get out of your car. You can have your dog on board. You can bike to the ferry and take your bike across. It is easy to access and runs numerous times on a day. Manuel Mendez2024-07-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The oldest ferry in the US. Great experience in a beautiful place. Andrea Marie2024-05-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing 👏 Robert Sutton2024-05-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The ferry service is a 10 out of 10. Quick, efficient and runs like a clock. We took our bikes from St Michaels to explore Oxford. Not long after we arrived the back wheel of my bike froze. We walked back over to the ferry and Tom, the captain (and we later found out, owner) of the ferry, took a look at the bike. We both deemed it unfixable with the tools at hand. We talked about possible getting a Uber, which was unlikely running as it was Mothers Day, and then decided that I would ride my wife’s bike to St Michaels to get the car while my wife waited with the other bike. To our surprise, Tom threw our bikes in the back of his pick up and drove us back to St. Michael’s. Few folks would have done that and we,re so grateful for his kindness Bob and Kim Sutton Brigantine, NJ
